Summary

The Polish Rehabilitation System has been introduced into the world by the architects of polish rehabilitation – prof. Wiktor Dega and prof. Marian Weiss. This system bases on four crutial components: early start, common access, complementary and continuation of the whole process – has gained acceptation of international gremium and worth to promote in 1970 on European Board of World Health Organization. Prof. Marian Weiss as a creator and main architect of the Metropolitan Rehabilitation Centre stayed honest to main ideas of this system. The author of the publication shortly describes activity of prof. Marian Weiss, directed to promoting and introducing into real life these modern system of rehabilitation in the Metropolitan Rehabilitation Centre.
