Summary
The anatomy and biomechanics of the acromioclavicural (ac) joint has been discussed. On the basis of the anatomy of the ac-joint the function tests for the clinical examination has been deduced. The therapy of the arthropathy of the ac-joint has been discussed. In the mean focus were physical therapy, kinesytherapy, local injection. On the basis of the examined group of eight patients with the isolated arthropathy of the ac-joint the effect of the therapy with phonophoresis and intra-articular injection of lignocain and glucocorticoid has been assessed.
