Summary
In the article described are the principles of fusion imaging as a consequence of the development of such methods as: computer tomography, magnetic resonance, single photon tomography, positron emission tomography. The main directions of fusion imagining, both in diagnosis and therapy are presented. The economic justification of advanced imagining methods is stressed.
