Summary
The efficiency of new method of voice and sound-speech therapy of children with hearing defect, based on voice signal computer visualization, is presented in this paper. The research used multimedial equipment consisting of IBM PC and two computer attachments: Laryngogaph procesor PCLX and Nasality. The first attachment, monitors work of voice track, especially vocal folds, based on electroglottography. The second allows observation of dynamics of air flow through the nose during speaking. The method of pedagogical experiment was used. The group of 88 children with deep bilateral hearing defect was examined. Results were worked out based on statistical methods and conclusions applied to therapy efficacy and influence factors were formulated.
