Summary
On the base of published research the author evaluates the local influence of cold on tissue temperature, nerve conduction, nerve reflexes, muscle strength and tension, blood perfusion and inflammation process. The article describes analgetic action of cold stimulation and modification of pain mechanisms and circulation after cold application.
